Overview

The objective of this Agreement is to deliver a comprehensive strategy via a series of white papers. These documents will review the current status quo and articulate a forward-looking vision for ML/AI, grounded in ethical principles and European values. The white papers are expected to serve as a cornerstone for future developments, offering insights and guidelines that reflect the latest advancements and ethical considerations in AI. Accompanying these white papers, the contract will develop practical guidelines and a checklist to ensure the seamless implementation of ethical principles in DestinE ML/AI projects. This practical approach aims to bridge the gap between theoretical ethical frameworks and their application in real-world scenarios. Moreover, high-impact communication materials derived from the white papers will be delivered, designed to engage a broad audience, and highlight the ethical underpinnings of DestinE’s ML/AI activities. A strategic policy advisory plan is also a critical part of the contract, aimed at engaging with European politics to foster a supportive environment for ethical AI development.
