Overview

This contract is one of the several contracts for the development of use cases to guide and influence the development of the Digital Twins. This one aim to further develop the existing HarvesterSeasons service by testing higher-resolution (1km) input data and using climate projections to extend the service for decadal information. The contract will implement technical interfaces to DestinE System Components, further develop a front end for forestry users, and develop new Machine Learning (ML) methods, notably for downscaling model output to the resolution required by forestry users (tens of meters). Finnish user communities are strongly engaged.
