Overview

The objective of this Agreement is for the development of a demonstrator leveraging high-resolution climate data from the Destination Earth initiative. It aims to assess and quantify climate-related risks to the agricultural sector, food prices, and financial stability through the development of tailored indicators and forward-looking scenarios for the European Central Bank (ECB). The scope includes stakeholder co-design with the ECB and ECMWF experts, delivery of datasets and scenarios, and provision of a Python-based analytical toolbox to support integration into ECB macroeconomic analysis and decision-making processes.
