Our latest animation video introduces the developments around the new ML-based wave component developed within DestinE.   

As part of the various Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) activities within DestinE, the development of new ML-based Earth system components plays a key role. These efforts span from leveraging the power of EuroHPC supercomputers for optimised training, to evaluating how well the new AI models perform, paving the way for future innovations. 

This video introduces the development of the AI-Wave component, highlighting the processes involved in training this model and the quality of results achieved. 

All AI components are being developed with the objective of coupling them into a fully integrated ML-based Earth system model.
